G Alvarado starred as “Bert” in Tacoma Musical Playhouse’s “Mary Poppins” with Meagan Castillo as the practically perfect nanny. Directed and choreographed by Harry Turpin, with music direction by Brian Soushek, and produced by Jon Douglas Rake. This incredible cast and crew brought Cherry Tree lane to life in the Summer of 2025 to countless sold out crowds. This marked Alvarado’s first acrobatic training and performance. Tap dancing up the wall and across the ceiling during the number “Step in Time”. He also worked with the production team to create promo videos which you can check out with the press and photos below!
